What you will do:

• Build and maintain robust, scalable and efficient Java applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices, and also understand the business requirements behind the code and the needed solution.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure software reliability and quality.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What we’re looking for:

• At least 5 years of experience with Java and a good understanding of the Java ecosystem.
• Experience working with Apache Kafka, Git, SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, and Linux.
• Good understanding of computer science fundamentals and system design principles.
• Eagerness to learn new languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Strong problem-solving mindset for tackling complex challenges.
• Experience in the fintech/RegTech industry and knowledge of fraud prevention solutions will be considered an advantage.
• Fluent English — written and spoken.
